Zing launched this low interest online savings account with a
social experiment. The research insight was
that Australians lose billions annually by not moving their
savings to higher interest rate accounts. To see just how lazy
people really were about their money, we created a money tree and
watched what happened.
Video content of the stunt went viral with over 300,000 views (and counting).
National coverage ensued and the stunt prompted copycat videos around the world.
